This book is a delicate and tactful way of getting the message across that "standing out isn't the only way to feel special. Joining in can be just as fun!" Chamelia's dilemma is in trying to "join in AND be herself." And isn't that something we all wrestle with??? Cute book. Good message. Not too preachy.
